THE ANGEL TAKES VEGAS!
And the winner of a $10,000 prize package is...ANGEL PALOMAREZ of the Tucson APA! Angel, a 9-Ball skill level 4, qualified to compete in the National 9-Ball Shootout in Las Vegas, NV by winning his bracket at the Southwest regional event held at Main St. Billiards in March of this year. As one of the winners of this event, Angel received free lodging at the Riviera Hotel and Casino along with an invitation to compete at the National Singles Championships. Angel was scheduled to compete against similar skill levels, 4's and 5's, for a grand prize of $10,000! At first he got off to a rough start after losing his first round but he steadily kept winning match after match, beating three 5's in a total of 7 matches until he found himself in the finals on day 3 of the event. This would prove to be Angels's toughest match yet as his opponent had just been raised to a skill level 6! However, Angel blew his competition away with strong finish of 31 to 34! For the upcoming Summer Session, the Tucson APA is offering a special for all teams that split into two teams!


[8D] WHY SPLIT? Maybe you want to captain your own team. Maybe your team can no longer field 5 players whose handicaps total 23. Maybe you know a lot of people that want to play pool. Whatever the reason, now is the time to act!

If a team splits at the beginning of the summer session, BOTH teams will be required to pay the first 11 (9 if on Sunday) weeks of the summer session. However BOTH TEAMS WILL RECEIVE THE LAST 4 WEEKS FREE!!! That is right FREE!!!

This will help to create more teams for each division and the league office will be able to add MORE MONEY to upcoming tournaments and possibly offer more events!

Please contact the league office if you or your team is interested in splitting into two teams.
